Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch show star, Justin Tennison was found dead in a hotel room in Alaska. The 33-year-old’s body was discovered by a hotel cleaning staff this Tuesday. Reportedly, police found alcohol and a small amount of marijuana in the room but maintain the cause of death is unknown.

Discovery Channel released this statement: “Discovery Channel is saddened by the passing of Time Bandit crew member Justin Tennison. We send our sympathies to his entire family and fellow crew members during this most difficult time.”

Tennison had a son and a daughter and joined the Time Bandit crew as a deckhand fishing the Red King 2010 and Opilio 2011 seasons. Just recently, the show lost another star of the show, Captain Phil. The site posted this message after his death,” We are all deeply saddened by the passing of Capt. Phil last February. He was a devoted father and loyal friend to all who knew him. We will miss his straightforward honesty, wicked sense of humor and enormous heart — in every way, he was a true American legend.”(dsc.discovery.com)
